Workshops are held at the Sequim Bike Works booth on the following Saturdays May 21st, May 28th & June 4th at the Sequim Farmers & Artisans Market from 10am-12pm.
Workshop emphasis is on basic bicycle repair and maintenance. These are small group workshops taught by an experienced instructor using a three step teaching approach of explanation, demonstration, and hands-on practice. Students will learn to diagnose problems, carry out proper maintenance and effect basic repairs.
Examples of class topics are:
How to adjust your bike fit for an efficient riding position.
Fixing a flat tire.
Performing a safety check and other pre-ride tips.
Basic drive train maintenance and adjustment to keep your bike humming along smoothly.
Diagnosing problems with bearings and other more advanced bicycle component problems.
